Bio

Daniel Lavín is an international filmmaker, hailing from Madrid, Spain and currently based in Tokyo, Japan.  He studied filmmaking in his native country, shooting and participating in several short films and working as an editor for a production company.  After moving to Tokyo, he directed his first feature film, Acrobats, which was selected for the Gijon International Film Festival 2008 and Abycine International Film Festival 2009. He has composed a web series of documentary shorts and was the D.P. on several commercials and music videos for clients in Japan. Currently, Daniel has completed principal photography on his second independent feature, ANXIETY, once again set in Tokyo.
